Our goal is to contribute to the Neurostim project by designing new electronic equipment to help handicaped patients to walk again without having to check the electric stimuli levels.

A closed loop regulation is absolutely necessary to adapt the electrical levels to the angular position of each leg.

Too high stimuli levels, during a long period imply a fall !
Stimulating one leg before the other has reached its expected final position implies a fall !

We have simulated the behaviour of the CogniMem Chip under Matlab and performed successfull tracking experiments

In the first example, we have defined within a region of interest the target to automatically follow image from image. The programm will detect, learn if necessary and finally recognize the target and actualized it if necessary.

In the next example we teach the network to recognize different parts of o a missile. Each time a neural cell has recognized part of the missile, a blue box appears on the video.
